We need your support!

So.....after a very long and frustrating day at the attorneys office yesterday and a very frustrating phone call with them on Monday the week is moving on and hopefully we will have some good news by Friday. In this whole adoption process we have someone called a guardian that is appointed to us by the courts and the guardian we were going to use has now been barred from the courts since she has been representing too many families according to the judges. She has been representing so many families because she is one of the few people that seems to work really hard here on adoption and believe in adoption. She is timely, which is very rare and she is very efficient and just overall super friendly and authentic, which is very refreshing. The first court date is actually to approve the guardian and nothing more.

Our attorney then had to find us a new guardian and we met at the attorneys office and she seems to be quite nice and on top of things as well, so we are hoping for the best. We had been told by the attorney that residents had given up their court date and we were in for the 10th of July. Well, not exactly now the lawyer tells me, we will not know until this Friday if we really can get in according to the courts. So, after spending thousands on a plane ticket for Josh, getting the kids and my hopes up we need lots of support from all of you that we actually get the go ahead on Friday for a court date of July 10th! We cannot file our official paperwork with the courts until Friday since our fostering period is up then, which marks the 3 month time period that we have been here.

We are hoping for the best on Friday so that Josh can get on the plane as scheduled on Thursday and arrive here Friday night.
