Trying to keep busy on a rainy day

You can't see David throwing the actual ball, but check out that follow through!

Getting ready to brave the down pour outside, we even pulled out David's wellies for this rain

Today was a day of rain, rain and more rain. We had a great play date at Children's World with some friends, so that was a great diversion and killed some time today for sure. We have found David's new favorite food as well, pasta primavera! Jalena loves it as well, so that is easy enough for Mommy to make all the time. David also got into a preschool, which he will start next week. The friends we met with today are heading back to Seatlle after being here in Kenya for the last eight years. Their son Ben, will be leaving Play Street, so David can take his place at the school, which we are thrilled about. David loves playing non stop and going to school will create great routine again and learning how to play well with others, which right now we need to relearn how to do. David will even get to do horse back riding at his new school, once a week they will come with a pony for the kids to ride and he will get to do swimming in September, his favorite sport so far! I think he is a Mamma's boy!
